Kivu Tour Guide
Why Visit Kinshasa,Bukavu & Goma?
This initiative focuses on the economic empowerment of a new generation of English speakers in the eastern region of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Organized within a network of English clubs, these young individuals aspire to broaden their professional connections with the global English-speaking community but often face barriers in doing so.
Tour guiding is a crucial component of this initiative, as it serves as a pathway for both connection and economic empowerment, facilitating the growth of English club members.

To support this goal, the ACA has trained volunteers from English clubs in tourism and tour guiding. In exchange, these trained members have committed to working as part-time assistants in the program and will contribute 5% of their earnings to community projects that enhance the productivity of their respective English clubs and promote local development. This program actively encourages numerous young people to join English clubs for skill development, recognizing that these environments can open new avenues for their socio-economic and professional advancement.
We invite you to visit the Democratic Republic of Congo and assist this emerging generation of English speakers in crafting a new narrative for their country.
