Women & Children Space
Empowering Conflict-Affected women & children
The ongoing conflict in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo has left thousands of children and young women traumatized, vulnerable, and deprived of basic rights. Many face abandonment, forced labor, lack of education, and constant insecurity. Young girls who become mothers are particularly at risk of being trapped in cycles of poverty and violence.
Through targeted interventions, ACA empowers conflict-affected women and children with access to education, psychosocial support, and livelihood opportunities. By providing safe spaces, skills training, and community support, we help them rebuild their lives, break the cycle of vulnerability, and move toward a future filled with hope, resilience, and self-reliance
